Group rides

Find your group

Rides run throughout the week from spots around South Jordan and Daybreak, sorted by pace so you can find your speed. Each group below is a pace, not a fixed time; the live calendar shows what's actually rolling and when.

Distance

Steady

15–17 mph

Comfortable, sustainable miles for building fitness — a pace you can still talk at, with more distance as the season goes on.

Faster

Brisk

18–20 mph

A quicker workout ride with pace-line rotation and honest efforts. Come ready to take a turn at the front.

Race pace

Competitive

21+ mph

For riders chasing events and top-end fitness: attacks, sprints, and race-simulation efforts with people who'll push you.

Every ride's day, time, and start location lives on the ride calendar — groups form based on who's riding. New riders: start with a Social ride and we'll help you find your speed.

Winter doesn't stop us

When outdoor riding slows down, the club moves inside — group Zwift rides and cycling-focused meetups keep the momentum (and the community) rolling until spring.

How our rides work

01 / SHOW UP

Check the calendar for the meetup spot and get there a few minutes early with a helmet, water, a spare tube, and a bike in working order. Introduce yourself, and someone will point you to the right group.

02 / RIDE TOGETHER

Group riding is a skill, and we teach it. Hold your line, point out hazards, and follow the wheel in front of you. You'll pick it up in a ride or two.

03 / NOBODY LEFT BEHIND

Social rides are no-drop: we regroup at the top of climbs and nobody rides home alone. Flat tire? The group stops. That's the deal.

About the club

Named for the neighborhood, built for the ride

We take our name from Daybreak, in South Jordan, and the badge wears the neighborhood proudly. The sunrise that gives the place its name climbs over the Oquirrh Mountains and their reflection on Oquirrh Lake, and the whole scene turns on a bicycle wheel. That wheel is the part we bring to it.

It's a club with room for everyone. The fast crowd gets a paceline, first-timers get a wheel to follow, and nobody rides home alone. Race, train, ride for fitness, or just come for the company and the coffee after. Pull up — there's a spot in the group for you.

Questions

Before your first ride

Do I need to be fast?

No. Rides are organized by pace group, and the Social ride is no-drop — we regroup often and nobody gets left behind. Ride what you can; the fitness comes.

Do I need a road bike?

Most riders are on road bikes, but any well-maintained bike you can comfortably hold the group's pace on is welcome. Helmets are required on every ride.

Does it cost anything?

No membership fee. Show up and ride. Club kit and merch will be optional when they land.

Where and when do rides start?

It varies — rides launch from spots around South Jordan and Daybreak, on different days and times. Every ride's exact start location and time is on the ride calendar.

What about winter?

We keep rolling indoors — group Zwift rides and cycling meetups run through the cold months, so spring doesn't start from zero.
